Skin Secrets offers both the Aerolase Neo and Aerolase Era, giving patients two complementary approaches to laser skin care.

Neo uses a 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength and 650-microsecond pulses to address deeper concerns such as acne, redness, pigment, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, and overall skin quality without ablating the surface.

Era uses a 2940nm Er:YAG wavelength and 300-microsecond pulses for controlled resurfacing of surface concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, sun damage, pigmentation, and scars.

Aerolase Neo & Era

Neo and Era give Skin Secrets options for addressing concerns at different levels of the skin. Your provider will recommend the device and treatment depth that fit your goals, skin, and recovery preferences.

Neo is the non-ablative path and generally involves little to no social downtime. Era precisely resurfaces the outer skin, so its recovery plan varies with the selected treatment depth.

Aerolase Neo

Neo is a non-ablative 1064nm Nd:YAG laser that delivers energy in 650-microsecond pulses below the skin surface.
It can address acne, rosacea and redness, melasma and hyperpigmentation, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, and signs of aging.
Neo is designed for Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI and can often be performed without cooling, numbing, or social downtime.
Its deeper energy can support collagen, reduce inflammation, target acne-causing bacteria, and address pigment while leaving the surface intact.

Aerolase Era

Era is a 2940nm Er:YAG laser that uses 300-microsecond pulses for controlled ablative skin resurfacing.
It can address fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, sun damage, age spots, pigmentation, acne scars, and surgical scars.
Adjustable settings let the provider customize the depth from lighter surface renewal to deeper corrective resurfacing.
